About This Blog

Welcome to my blog. 🙂

My name is John. I’ve carved out a successful career as a professional writer since graduating from college in 2004. For a long time during my writing career, I felt like something was missing. I wanted to devote some time to writing things that had a deeper personal meaning to myself beyond another run-of-the-mill article. The idea for this blog came to mind and I saw it as the answer to my dilemma. This blog lets me spend a little time each week devoting my writing talents to things related to God and Christ.

This blog will present my views on principles and doctrines of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since I’m a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this blog will mostly address beliefs and concepts familiar to Mormons. I hope to shed some light on my personal beliefs and what my church teaches to anyone who wants to learn more. And I hope, in a small way,  I can help you find answers to questions on your mind or in your heart.

Feel free to ask questions and leave comments. Please note that I will not post any comments I deem vulgar, offensive, argumentative or blatant trolling. This is not a public message board and I want this to be a safe place for everyone to engage gospel discussions.

Also be aware that I am not interested in posting comments or links unduly critical of Mormon doctrines or Mormon leadership. There are plenty of other blogs and message boards out there for you if that’s what you want to discuss.

  1. This is a great thing, John. And much needed in the world today. I’ll be following to hear what you have to say.
